Sell Your Gadget (SYG Camera Thailand) ("we", "us") buys used cameras, lenses, drones, phones, tablets and laptops from private sellers in Bangkok through https://sellyourgadget.asia. This notice explains how we handle personal data under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) ("PDPA").

1. Data we collect

• Contact data - mobile number (Thai or international), name, LINE/WhatsApp ID, email if you give it.
• Quote data - the device, model, storage, condition answers, accessories, the price shown or requested, and the language you used.
• Pickup / payment data - pickup address, preferred time, Thai bank account details for the transfer, and a copy or photo of your ID card or passport taken at the hand-over (Thai law requires a second-hand dealer to record the seller's identity).
• Device data - serial / IMEI number of the device you sell, inspection photos and notes.
• Technical data - IP address, browser, device type, pages viewed, captcha attempts, cookies (see our Cookie Policy).

2. Why we use it and the legal basis

• To give you a quote, arrange the pickup or shop visit, inspect the device and pay you - performance of a contract.
• To verify your identity and keep the record of the purchase that second-hand dealer rules and tax law require - legal obligation.
• To check that a device is not reported lost or stolen and to prevent fraud - legitimate interest.
• To contact you about the quote you asked for (call, LINE, WhatsApp or SMS) - contract / legitimate interest. We do not send marketing messages unless you agree to them.
• To measure and improve the website (analytics, advertising conversion) - consent, given through the cookie settings.

3. Who we share it with

Only as needed: our staff and technicians; our hosting provider; LINE and Meta (WhatsApp) when you message us there; Google (Analytics, Ads, Maps) for the technical data described in the Cookie Policy; banks for your payment; and authorities when the law requires it (for example a police request about a specific device). We never sell your data.

4. Transfers outside Thailand

Our web server and some service providers are located outside Thailand. Where data leaves Thailand we rely on the provider's contractual safeguards and on the necessity of the transfer to perform our contract with you, as allowed by section 28 of the PDPA.

5. How long we keep it

• Purchase records, ID copy, serial numbers and payment details: 10 years (accounting and second-hand dealer record-keeping).
• Quote requests that do not lead to a sale: 2 years, then deleted or anonymised.
• Technical logs and captcha records: up to 12 months.

6. Your rights

You may ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to support@sellyourgadget.in or message us on LINE/WhatsApp; we answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC), Thailand.

7. Security

The site runs over HTTPS, passwords are hashed, access to quote and purchase data is limited to staff who need it, and ID copies are stored separately from the public website.

8. Children

We only buy devices from persons aged 20 or over (or a minor with a parent or guardian present at the hand-over). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes

We will post any change on this page with a new date. Significant changes are announced on the website.
