Our technician checks the camera in front of you. Once you both agree, you are paid the same day by Thai bank transfer, or in cash within the legal cash limit.

Decided to sell? A few small things can move the price up:

Clean the body

If the camera has been in a bag for a year, dust and fingerprints will be on it. A careful wipe with a microfibre cloth costs you nothing and makes the inspection go faster.

Check that it still shoots

Take a few frames before the pickup. Autofocus, shutter, the screen, the card slot. Knowing everything works means no surprises when our technician checks it.

Add your lenses

Lenses are priced separately and add real money to the total. Add every lens you own on the quote page rather than selling them one by one later.

Bring the original accessories

The box, charger, battery, cables, strap and receipt all count. A complete kit is worth more than a body on its own.

Sell to a shop that inspects properly

The final number depends on who is looking at the camera. Our technicians work with camera gear every day, so a good body is recognised as a good body and priced like one.

At Sell Your Gadget we reset every camera we buy, but do not rely on that alone. Back up your photos and videos first, then format the card and reset the camera yourself. Before the pickup, also:

  • Check that every button and dial still works
  • Charge the battery so we can test the camera on the spot
  • Bring the memory card, strap and charger if you still have them

Frequently asked questions

These are the usual signs it is time:

  • You are upgrading. Moving to a newer body or to mirrorless? Selling the old one early keeps more of its value.
  • It has not left the bag in months. A camera sitting unused only loses value, and batteries and lenses do not like long storage.
  • The warranty is still valid. A body still under warranty is worth more.
  • A replacement model is coming. Prices drop when the successor lands, so selling before the launch pays better.
  • You are leaving Thailand. If the camera is not coming home with you, selling it here is simpler than carrying it through an airport.

Yes. After you choose the body, the next step lets you add as many lenses as you own. Each one is priced separately and added to the total. Camera prices on this site are for the body only.

No. You receive the agreed amount in full after the inspection, and pickup in Bangkok is free.

Only one thing: be accurate. The quote is based on what you tell us. If the camera turns out to be in a different condition at the inspection, the price has to change, and nobody enjoys that conversation on the day.

The same day, at the pickup. Bank transfer to a Thai account, or cash within the legal cash limit. There is no holding period and no waiting for the camera to resell.
