What we check at pickup: the shutter count, the condition of the sensor and of any lens (scratches, dust, fungus or haze), the box, receipt and warranty status, and the accessories included — battery, charger, straps and caps. The camera is inspected in front of you, and the price you were quoted stands if the condition matches what you described.
The price depends on the model, its age and its condition. Two of the same model can be worth very different amounts once shutter count, cosmetic wear, whether the original box and receipt are still around, and current demand for that exact model are taken into account.
Camera prices on this site are for the body only. Lenses are priced separately and added to your total, so a body and several lenses can be sold in the same visit.
