Camcorders are a different animal from a mirrorless body: no shutter count, more moving parts, and usually a bag of handles, microphones and batteries that belong with them. Here is what to check.

A camcorder has no shutter count. Most professional models keep an hours meter in the menu; consumer Handycams usually do not. If yours shows it, write it down and mention it. If it does not, you do not need it to get a price; we run the camera at the pickup and look at the wear.
Insert a card, record two or three minutes, and play it back on the camera. Listen to the built-in microphone in the playback. Then zoom slowly from one end to the other with the rocker: it should move smoothly at every speed, without a jump or a grinding noise. On models with an ND filter wheel, click through each position.
Open the side screen fully, rotate it and close it. Look at the eyepiece viewfinder for a cracked or cloudy diopter. On the PJ models, switch on the built-in projector and point it at a wall - it is one of the things buyers ask about, and it either works or it does not.
On the NX, PXW, AG-AC90 and C100, the top handle carries the XLR inputs and often the microphone holder. Bring it, and bring the microphone if it came with the camera. Plug something into each XLR socket if you can. A missing handle is not the end of the sale, but it belongs in the description.
Camcorder batteries are large, expensive and specific to the model - NP-FV on Handycams, BP-U on the PXW and NX line, BP-9 series on the C100. Bring every one you have with the charger, and say which ones no longer hold a charge. Batteries that have swollen should not be used and should be mentioned.
Camcorders that have been on boats or beaches show it at the zoom rocker, the doors and the lens front. Fungus inside a fixed lens cannot be cleaned the way an interchangeable lens can; the fungus guide shows what it looks like against a torch. Be upfront, and nobody wastes a trip.
